Andy has been creating paintings based on dreams since 1975. The skies, foliage, and architecture, but most of all the “perfect world” feelings, were the starting points for his unique style called “Extended Realism.” It is an extension of reality meant to portray serene worlds of well-being. His works are now also mixed with his imagination or places that he has seen in his travels but he strives to infuse the positive feeling in each new piece he creates. He works in acrylics using a glazing technique of transparent layers to give a vibrancy and luminosity. His works are collected throughout the USA in many foreign countries, and are included in collections such as General Motors and celebrity artist Peter Max.
