Through my artwork, I aim to create an illusion of cosmic, otherworldly intrigue. The resulting images possess an illusion of depth and space. I manipulate marbleized compositions using oil paint on a single sheet of paper. At times I cut out forms from a single composition and overlap these to form an intricate collage. I also combine two separate techniques to create depth and dimension by overlapping controlled marbleized forms onto abstract acrylic washes applied to watercolor paper.
Building on a legacy since 1891, we embrace visual exploration as critical to the voice of our time.
