I am a self taught artist. One year in college majoring in art was interrupted by alternate paths that life often takes you. It never took me off the path of creation.
About a decade ago, I was finally able to concentrate on what I always wanted to do - share the art I created. Through the guidance of an accomplished artist who became my mentor and most kind critic, I gained the expertise and confidence to share my work.
I am an exhibiting member of the Buffalo Society of Artists. My first solo show took place in 2018 at Sisti Gallery North. I have three painting curated into Roswell Park's permanent collection and numerous paintings and sculptures in private collections. I have placed first and second in various exhibits.
My work is inspired by long harbored memories and fleeting moments in time. I most enjoy using found objects to incorporate into paintings, sculptures and assemblages. Wood, glass, fabric, mirror, paper find their way into my work to weave a story.
