Martin De Vita graduated from SUNY Oswego with a degree in Studio Arts (BFA) and Psychology (BA) with a minor in Art History. He enjoys visual art that combines traditional technique with contemporary idealism. His drawings, paintings and sculptures aim to find a balance between representational and expressionistic modes of thought. De Vita lives and works in Buffalo, NY as a counselor for individuals recovering from severe mental illness. He also works as a research assistant in a clinical psychology lab at the University of Buffalo.
