A native of Bermuda, Norine studied in Philadelphia at Moore College of Art and The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. After having lived in California for several years and raising a family, she moved to Western New York and completed her MFA degree at SUNY Buffalo, where she was a longtime lecturer in the art department.
A past president of Buffalo Society of Artists, she has also served on the executive board of Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society, and has been an active member of several regional and local arts groups.
Her work has been included in many national and local juried exhibitions. Awards include the Gold, Silver and Bronze from BSA, and Purchase Awards from the Erie Art Museum (Erie, PA) and the Minnesota Museum of Art (St. Paul, MN)
