A panel of poets and artists reflecting on visual art and verbal expression in art, poetry and prose and more performances of poetry inspired by Galley works. The panel will include Bob Giannetti, Helen Rogers Russell, George Grace, Michael Basinski and E. R. Baxter. George Grace will read his poems on work of Priscilla Bowen, Adele Becker and Kathleen Dworak. Bob Giannetti will read poems on the work of Lorna Berlin and Joan Hambleton. Michelle Kratts, poet and Lewiston Public Library Librarian, will read her poem on work of Rose Popper. The BSA members and guests who attended the Wines & WWII fundraising event at home of Paula Sciuk and her husband Ken Sciog on Friday, June 12 enjoyed an evening of beautiful weather, a creative pairing of wine with an array of imaginative hors d’oeuvres, and an exciting and informative discussion and display of World War II aircraft, all of which sparked great conversation and good fellowship. To enhance the taste of both wine and food, the extensive selection of wines from Italy, France and Oregon were paired with Italian piave cheese, French brie, prosciutto, Mediterranean and French olives and goat cheese, served with French baguettes, and a cornucopia of familiar and exotic fruits including grapes, dates, currents, Asian pears, blackberries, apricots, strawberries, cherries, kumquats,…

Six Buffalo Society of Artists had work selected by Erie County Executive Chris Collins for exhibition. Adele Becker, Nancy Cerny, Joan Fitzgerald, Robert Schulman, Paula Sciuk, and Jeffrey Swaluk A private reception for artists and guests was held on March 9th at the County Executives office.
