Benefit Exhibition for the Western New York Land Conservancy

“The Art of Native Plants” Meibohm Fine Arts is preparing to host a juried exhibition to benefit the Western New York Land Conservancy. The exhibition will be held June 10 – July 29, 2017 at the East Aurora gallery. In addition to supporting the arts community in the region, Meibohm Fine Arts has a long commitment to the Land Conservancy, which permanently protects Western New York’s most cherished farmland, forests, wetlands and natural places. The exhibition “The Art of Native Plants” will focus on the importance of native plants in the ecosystem of our area. Artwork considered for this exhibition should depict native plants, their environs, or the wildlife they support throughout the seasons. A Buffalo State Certificate Program for Creative Artists Register Now!! Five intensive workshops in entrepreneurship will provide essential knowledge for creating and operating your own arts enterprise. Presenters include experts in strategic planning, taxation and legal requirements, finance and insurance, trademark and copyright law, and e-commerce and marketing. The final session will feature a panel of artistic entrepreneurs who earn a living from their creative enterprises. Space is limited to 30 registrants. Discounts are available for Buffalo State students and alumni. This professional development program is offered as a package of five sessions.
