A collaborative project between the Lt. Col. Matt Urban Human Service Center’s homeless services department (Hope Center) and artist, Gary L. Wolfe. The goal of this project is to raise awareness of the plight of the homeless in the City of Buffalo through portraits painted in a technique that captures not only the vulnerability and social alienation experienced by these individuals but also their human dignity and the hope that they cling to. BSA seeks submissions for City of Night Silos

Buffalo Society of Artists seeks submissions from all artists (one does not need to be a BSA member to submit) for City of Night Silos, a curated fine arts exhibit to be held at Silo City, Buffalo, NY during the City of Night event, August 17, 2013. City of Night, hosted by Emerging Leaders in the Arts Buffalo, is a one night art, culture, and sustainability extravaganza. 2-d work in all styles relating to the grain elevators considered. The exhibit is free to enter, and there will be a cash “People’s Choice Award” donated by the Buffalo Society of Artists.
