Dennis Bertram is featured in a solo exhibition at the River Art Gallery and Gifts.
Bertram: When I began learning to paint, as with most newbies, my subject matter was traditional. Eventually I discovered my own unique abstract style. Nevertheless, I continue to try my hand with more conventional imagery such as the faces, figures and narratives of this exhibition. Only a few of the paintings in the show have ever been exhibited in public or ever will be again.
Dennis Bertram is a resident artist at the Buffalo Arts Studio, Buffalo, New York.
