Meditation is difficult to define as it covers a wide range of practices. Dictionaries give both the original Latin meaning of; thinking deeply about something, as well as the popular usage of focusing one's mind for a period of time. My work attempts to engage the viewer, contemplating the land as a form of a mantra for the purpose of relaxation and spiritual awareness.
