Martha Rogala

About
Martha Rogala

After teaching art in the public schools and exploring a variety of mediums with my students and in my personal artwork, I am now concentrating on painting, with an emphasis on plein air. Deciding to tackle the fluid and spontaneous characteristics of watercolor has given me opportunities to explore the gifts that the medium offers and to use the water and pigment as partners in my artistic journey. My goal as an artist is to share my strong connection to our environment so that the viewer’s interpretation of my artwork may help them connect or reconnect with the natural wonders around us.
