About
Richard Christian

ARTIST’S STATEMENT Richard W. Christian II 716-864-3124 richard@richardwchristian.com While I use world mythologies and classical literature as a source for imagery in my work, I am not interested in storytelling in a literal sense. Rather, these familiar stories from my childhood serve as a starting point and an armature upon which I can build as I formally search for what I need as an artist, and as a conduit to deeper passages within myself.
