Rita Argen Auerbach

Rita Argen Auerbach is an internationally recognized painter whose award winning watercolors are included in numerous museum, corporate and private collections in this country and abroad. Her painting technique has been published in American Artist and Watercolor magazines. Three works are included in the U.S State Department Art in the Embassies Program. The Buffalo and Erie County Arts Council named her Individual Artist Achievement Award, 2009. Forty Years of Watercolor Painting were celebrated with three concurrent exhibitions and publication of "Chronicle" in 2014 as well as articles in Buffalo Spree, Artvoice, and Buffalo News Gusto. Rita is a Buffalo State College Distinguished Alum and on the Alumni Association Board. She serves as a Trustee at the Burchfield Penney Art Center and the Buffalo Society of Artists.
