About Susan Palys
I make paintings of landscapes, nature and whimsical imaginings using a variety of water media. I work in a realistic, emotive style that is inspired by memories, daily life and travel so in an effort to highlight beauty in every day life and to provide a moment of calming renewal to viewers of my work. https://www.artbysusanpalys.com/
Making art became a vital to me at an early age. I pursued art though High School and Buffalo State College years which lead to an B.S. in Art Education. Retirement has given me the opportunity to work on my “first love” in a way I once only dreamed of.
Currently, I am an exhibiting member of the Buffalo Society of Artists as well as a Signature Member the Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society, The Western New York Artist Group, Centennial Art Center (Hamburg), and the East Aurora Art Society .
Exhibits include a solo exhibition at Ten Thousand Vines Winery in Hamburg NY.
Juried Exhibitions include the 123rd & 124th Catalogue Exhibition of Buffalo Art Society (Sisti Gallery in North Tonawanda) and the Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society’s 14th Annual International Exhibitions of Transparent Watercolors, Western NY Artist Group Exhibitions, The Kenan Center Niagara Frontier Regional Artists Exhibition and the BSA 2021 Thumb Box Exhibition. Additional exhibitions include: The Centennial Art Center Library Exhibits, Enjoy The Journey Gallery and Evans Art Guild Exhibits.
