An added feature to the Buffalo Society of Artists 113th Catalogue Exhibition, October 18 — November 15, 2009.
The Tours will be held on Saturday, November 7th and Sunday, November 8th, 2009 from 2:30 – 4:30 PM each day. Please invite your friends, family and any art lovers you encounter in the general public.
Our Educational Chair, Fotini Renzoni will be heading up the tours and is asking for BSA artists to step forward and speak about their artwork in the exhibit and address any questions from the audience. Our purpose is to engage the general public in an art educational event by hearing directly from the artists exactly what the creative process involves. Fotini has set up half hour segments on both days and you can call her at 553-3433 to volunteer to discuss your work or ask for additional information.
This public event will be video tapped by BSA board member Larry Kinney and will eventually become part of our historic archives held at the Burchfield Penney Art Gallery and may also aid in the pursuit of a not for profit status in the future.
The Kenan Center House Gallery is admission free. However a suggested $3 per visitor donation is sincerely appreciated.
