Gerald Mead is one of 8 national artists in ReUse/ReOrder at the Indianapolis Art Center until Apr. 19. He also showed in Dec. in “Spirituality” at El Museo Gallery, Buffalo, and in Jan. in “Visual AIDS: Postcards from the Edge” at Metro Pictures Gallery, NYC. In Nov. he was a panelist for a Visual Art Career Panel Discussion at UB and judged the Niagara Art & Cultural Center Annual Exhibition in Niagara Falls. Gerald also was one of 7 regional invited artists in “PRISM: One Community, Many Perspectives” at CEPA Gallery last month. He was a reviewer for the New York Foundation for the Arts’ Special Opportunity Stipend grants in March and served on the Cedar Arts Center’s Exhibitions Submissions Review Panel in Corning NY in February to select artists for their 2010 exhibitions.
