Coni Minneci is showing “A to Z, an Historical Survey of Women Artists” at the Olean Public Library Gallery, 134 N. 2nd St., Olean, from Mar. 21 – Apr. 26, opening reception Mar. 29, 2-4 pm, with Coni’s lecture on the artists.

Michael McMahon Exhibiting at Keenan Center
Michael McMahon is exhibiting at the Keenan Center in a show called Three Brushes, February 12 through March 11. The exhibit, featuring three noted Lockport area painters, opens with a free public reception on Sunday, February 12 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Kenan Center House Gallery at 433 Locust Street, Lockport. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, noon-5:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Manning McCandlish and Shirley Murdoch are also part of the exhibition.
George Grace Wins Award, Plans Exhibitions
George Grace’s Post Industrial work of the former Coke Ovens of Bethlehem Steel, Up the Conveyor Line, acrylic on canvas (above), was awarded second place in the Fine Arts League Fall Exhibition at the Carnegie Arts Center, judged by Ted Pietrczk. He is also planning a solo exhibition at Hansa, an upscale office co-op at 510 Ellicott Street in Buffalo, opening and artist talk to be determined. The exhibition will run through early January. This will be followed sometime in January with a three-artist exhibition, with Nancy Mariani and Melinda K. Schneider at the Fox Run retirement community gathering/administrative building in Orchard Park–again, opening and artist talks to be announced.
