Kathleen McDonnell’s pastel painting, “Peace” was accepted for the Pastel Painters of Maine’s 12th International Juried Exhibition, “Pastels Only” to be held at Heartwood College of Art, Kennebunk, Maine from June 17 to July 16, 2011. The opening reception is June 17th from 5-7 PM. Kathleen was also selected to exhibit in the “Pastels by Invitation, A Significant Exhibition of Exceptional Artwork . Gerald Mead Involved in Exhibitions, Appointments & Activities
Gerald Mead has a 30-year survey of his work on view in the Norine Spurling Memorial Gallery at Canterbury Woods (Williamsville) through November 14 and his work will be included in the exhibition “Five Years of Mirabo Press” at Mirabo Press (Buffalo) from November 16 to December 31. He juried the “77th Regional Exhibition” (Arnot Art Museum, Elmira, NY), was appointed to the Roswell Park Art Committee, and was invited to serve as the Honorary Advisory Board Chair of the West Seneca School District Academy of Visual Arts. BSA Exhibiting Member William McCullagh wins “Best in Show”
BSA Exhibiting Member William McCullagh won the “Best in Show” award for an acrylic piece entitled “FDNY Engine 42, Tim’s Truck” at the Williamsville Art Society Holiday Show. Awards were presented at a reception held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the Amherst Center for Senior Services. Judge Donald Siuta chose work in four categories, acrylic, oil, watercolor, and other; as well as the “Judge’s Award” and “Best in Show”.
