Congratulations to BSA President Frani Evedon! Her photographic image “Spinal Bouquet” is traveling! The work was accepted into the “Through The Body” show in Silver City, New Mexico.

The exhibition will be at Light Art Space in Silver City.
Juried by Michael Puff, the exhibition opens August 5th and runs through October 1.
Yellow Pond, acrylic and oil pastel on canvas Then and Now, Four Decades of Painting A solo show of Susan Copley’s work and book signing of the new book, Then and Now, Four Decades of Painting will open at 1045 Elmwood, October 5th, First Friday, from 6 to 9 pm. The book describes in chapter form the twists and turns of her work. It begins in 1978 when she received her Masters Degree in Painting from the University of Buffalo and ending with current works of the last few years.
Kathleen Dworak had a painting accepted into the Rockies West National Watercolor Exhibition. The show runs from March 1st to April 6th in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Richard Stamps is exhibiting a photograph in the “2014 Made In NY” Exhibition, held at the Schweinfurth Art Center in Auburn, New York. The Exhibition runs to May 25th, 2014. Gallery Hours are Tues-Saturday 10 am-5 pm, Sunday 1-5 pm.

Gerald Mead is one of 8 national artists in ReUse/ReOrder at the Indianapolis Art Center until Apr. 19. He also showed in Dec. in “Spirituality” at El Museo Gallery, Buffalo, and in Jan. in “Visual AIDS: Postcards from the Edge” at Metro Pictures Gallery, NYC. In Nov. he was a panelist for a Visual Art Career Panel Discussion at UB and judged the Niagara Art & Cultural Center Annual Exhibition in Niagara Falls. Gerald also was one of 7 regional invited artists in “PRISM: One Community, Many Perspectives” at CEPA Gallery last month.
