Gary has gotten news that his painting entitled, “01001011 01010011” was selected by Juror, Dr. Jessica Todd Smith from The Philadelphia Museum of Art to be part of the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences’ “Unmasked: Contemporary Portraiture” exhibition.
The show will run this summer from July 16 to August 14 in Long Beach Island, New Jersey. If you are vacationing on the Jersey shore this year, drop by and visit!

Buffalo Society of Art Distinguished Member and two-time past President George Palmer, Shea’s Performing Arts Center’s official portrait painter, will have a retrospective of his life’s work. George Palmer: His Many Faces The Kenan Center House Gallery July 15th – August 26, 2018 Opening Reception: Sunday, July 15th from 2 – 5 pm. Palmer, 93, continues to work in oils and pastels, and still takes portrait commissions. The exhibit will include works of his WWII Navy shipmates, his work as an illustrator in New York City, current work, and a selection of portraits for which he is well known.
