Joan Fitzgerald’s third crime novel Death’s Cold Harvest has just been published by Buffalo Arts Publishing. The other two in the series are: The Arms of Death and Death in a Cold City. It is her fourteenth published book, the others being children’s books, young adult novels and poetry collections. The story is about murder on an urban farm. The books are available at the Western New York Artist’s Group Gift Shop and are also available on Amazon.

Joan’s paintings and collages have been exhibited in 71 national and international exhibitions and Joan has received eight international awards.

Twenty years of teaching art at Hamburg Junior High School had given her many real-life experiences that furnished material for her children’s books.

She is now retired from her post as Fine Arts instructor for Erie Community College.

Susan Budash – Exhibition

Susan Budash‘s work will be on exhibit at the Buffalo Club beginning June 15th and closing August 31. She will discuss her work and early Flemish methods at a dinner given at the club on Aug. 24th. Susan Budash’s Mason Series will be featured in a Solo Exhibition at the Kada Gallery in Erie, PA, from July 24, until August 28, with the Artist Reception held in the evening of July 24. In recognition of this solo exhibition, Susan will be one of the artist’s featured in the July 2010 issue of American Art Collector magazine.
