122nd Annual Catalogue Exhibition Opens At Artist Group Gallery
BSA’s 122nd Anuual Catalogue Exhibition opened at Artist Group Gallery, One Linwood Avenue, Buffalo on October 5th. Of the 157 submissions, 57 works were selected by juror Martin Kruck. Kruck wrote, “Most of these showcase exhiberant, vivid qualities with a sense of movement or material handling that borders on energized. Otheres are still, contemplative, and a little arresting, like a layer of everyday seeing has been replaced with something new. And then there are those so odd, quirky, or humorous they have to be given some light. All, in their way, are compelling.” Congratulations to all the exhibitors and a special recognition to the award winners. 1st Place, Gold Medal: Mort Spiller Award: Joyce Hill, Childhood Dreams 2nd Place, Siver Medal: Trustee’s Award: Eileen Graetz,…
