Kathleen McDonnell Painting in Kennebunk, Maine

Kathleen McDonnell’s pastel painting, “Peace” was accepted for the Pastel Painters of Maine’s 12th International Juried Exhibition, “Pastels Only” to be held at Heartwood College of Art, Kennebunk, Maine from June 17 to July 16, 2011. The opening reception is June 17th from 5-7 PM.

Kathleen was also selected to exhibit in the “Pastels by Invitation, A Significant Exhibition of Exceptional Artwork . The Exhibition will be held at the Creative Arts Center in Chatham, MA on August 1st to September 2nd. The opening reception is on Saturday, August 6th from 6-8 PM. www.pastelsbyinvitation.com

Mark Lavatelli will be exhibiting three encaustic diptych paintings that combine tree images and conceptual representation in a group show in New York entitled “Charged Brushes”, at The Painting Center (547 W. 27th St., Suite 500) from March 1 to 26, 2011.
