BSA member and Supervisor of Art Education at Buffalo City School District Michele Agosto was selected by NYS Assembly Member Crystal People-Stokes as one of three awardees for the Women in the Arts awards taking place during her 8th annual Women’s Luncheon on April 20 at the Statler Tower.
Agosto said, “I am deeply grateful, very surprised, and super excited to say the least, especially as I am in the company of Agnes Bain and Leslie Zemsky, women of great passion, power and prestige.”
Sally Treanor and the Hope Studio Painters, including BSA members Janet Ide, Sandy Ludwig, Carol Siracuse and Sally Treanor are exhibiting their work in the Art Gallery at Fox Run in Orchard Park (corner of 20A & California Road). Susan M. Miller’s painting,” Evening Gold”, was accepted into the International Society of Experimental Artists 25th Annual Art Show. New York City Artist, Antonio Masi, is the Juror/Judge for the exhibition.
