RH Stamps‘ work “KKK II” was accepted into the Erie Art Museum, 88th Annual Juried Spring Show, which runs from April 16, 2011 to June 26, 2011. The Juror was Mark Newport.
For this year’s show, 304 artists submitted 593 pieces, from which 90 works were accepted from 74 different artists.
The museum is located at 411 State Street in Erie PA.
Paul Rybarczyk’s painting “Seated Erick” was chosen as one of the daily “Nudes of the Month” for June in Barebrush’s monthly art calendar. It is featured on June 12 and is also one of the “curator’s choices.” The goal of Barebrush is to increase public awareness, acceptance and appreciation of the art of the nude. Barebrush conducts a monthly competition to create a calendar of painting, photography and sculpture all featuring the art of the nude. http://www.barebrush.com/

The Lever of Reference: Sculpture, Paintings and Works on Paper by Thomas Matyas, will be on view at Fitz Books from February 3rd to February 28th, 2023. There will be an opening reception on Friday, February 3rd from 6-8 pm. Fitz Books is located at 433 Ellicott St, Buffalo NY 14203. Ruth Mohn has a show of her photographs in the new entrance wing of Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. It will be up through the summer months. A reception for Ruth and Larry Kinney, a sculptor who shares the exhibit space, will be held at the Hospital on Friday, June 25, at 1:30 p.m. The public is invited.
