Jackie Albarella and the Veterans Art Group is proud that the Office of Inspector General, Department of Veterans Affairs used their beautiful quilt design for the cover of their report to Congress. This group includes Dan Frontera, Barbara Murak, James Becker, Ralph Siriani, Joe Ruszala.

The “Hand to Hand” quilt was hand crafted by the veterans, their families and artists in the group. It is made from different patterns that represent the differences of the individual members of the Collaborative. The hands represent our ability to reach out and help each other in community.

Jackie and neighbor Dan Frontera started the Veterans Art Collaborative in 2010 to help returning veterans deal with tensions and problems on their return from war zones.
