Joyce Hill – EXHIBITION

In October, Joyce Hill, had two works accepted into a juried exhibition called “Reconstruction” held at the Viva Art Gallery in Los Angeles. She also had one of her “graffiti” series works accepted into the 113th Annual Exhibition of the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Exhibition held at the National Arts Club in NYC. Joyce is currently showing in The National Collage Society’s 25th Annual Juried Exhibition at the Mason Murer Art Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia. The exhibition runs from November 6th through December 31, 2009.

Design and Installation of Artwork

Description: The City University Construction Fund is seeking an Artist to design and install a site-specific outdoor art installation as part of the new Performing Arts Center project at Brooklyn College. The purpose of this project is to create dynamic and exciting artwork which complements and enhances the new surrounding landscape immediately adjacent to the new Performing Arts Center building. Brooklyn College is one of the City University of New York’s eleven senior colleges. The Performing Arts Center will create a new home for the Music and Theater Departments, and will consist of Performance Spaces, Practice Rooms, performance support spaces, and new site work & landscaping. The new building will be approximately 60,000 GSF and will replace an outdated wing of Whitman Hall. The project…

TheExhibition was held at the National Arts Club Grand Gallery, New York, New York,from September 8th through September 27th. Kathleen’s pastel painting “Autumn Journey #4” was accepted into the ConnecticutPastel Society’s 16th Annual National Exhibition, “Renaissance in Pastels”. andreceived the Pastel Society of America Award. The Exhibition was held at theMattatuck Museum in Waterbury, Connecticut from October 2nd through October 25th.
