Stephen Houseknecht was awarded Second Prize in the Made in NY 09 juried exhibition at the Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center, Auburn NY. Houseknecht has also been included in the Curator’s Choice Exhibition in the Albright Knox Collectors Gallery.

Susan Explains I have good news to share with our membership that started with the BSA website artist listings! I was contacted in April by a young woman inquiring for her dad about a very special commission. Her dad’s dream was to have a landscape painting done as an “heirloom” artwork. It was a very special landscape depicting the village he was born in and the home of his ancestors, Futani, Italy.
