Cindi O’Mara Work Included in View Center, Old Forge, NY
Cindi O’Mara’s work, Intensity, is included in Flowers, Trees, and Roots: The Wild World of Plants, the winter exhibition at the View Center for Arts and Culture in Old Forge, New York. The exhibition opened on December 3, 2022 and will be on view thorugh March 26, 2023.
Gerald Mead – Exhibits in Russia
Gerald Mead exhibited his work at the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts in Ekaterinburg, Russia last November, in a “Buffalo Artist Exchange” exhibition. Hs work will also be published in the forthcoming textbook “Exploring Color Photographs: From Film to Pixels” (5th Edition, Elseviers Focal Press).
BSA Members at Kenan Center
BSA members, Arthur Barnes, Catherine Brown, Michael McMahon, Helen Russell, Joan Shaw, Dennis Stierer, Mark Weld, Joan Turrell and Anne Zohur are part of a show at Kenan Center, “Group of Twelve,” opening on February 20 (2-5pm) and running through March 20, 2011.
Susan Palys Cites BSA Website as Instrumental in Securing Commission
Susan Explains I have good news to share with our membership that started with the BSA website artist listings! I was contacted in April by a young woman inquiring for her dad about a very special commission. Her dad’s dream was to have a landscape painting done as an “heirloom” artwork. It was a very special landscape depicting the village he was born in and the home of his ancestors, Futani, Italy. The young lady informed me that she had been searching for an artist willing to take on commission for a large (30″x48″) painting for quite some time when she was referred to the Buffalo Society of Artist’s website.
