Pen & Ink Illustrations for A Night at Gatsby’s

A Night at Gatsby’s is an invitation to attend one of Jay Gatsby’s fabulous Jazz Age parties and learn some of his story by listening to the characters’ conversations over six scenes.

Seven black and white pen & ink drawings are needed for a (6” X 9”) book of the playscript—a headshot of Gatsby for the cover and one interior drawing for each of the six scenes. All artwork should be in the done in the cross-hatched 1920s style of the famous illustrator James Montgomery Flagg (samples below). Deadline about March 1. Fee about $1,000.

All characters for scenes 1-6 should be talking or listening to an out-of-view character just to the left or right of the book’s reader—not directly at the reader.
