Victor Shanchuk, Jr. – A Life’s Work (A Retrospective Exhibition) will open with a reception for the artist on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 7:30 to 9pm. The exhibit will continue to be on view through September 29, 2017. The exhibit highlights the long artistic career of this artist. Included in the exhibit will be works ranging from the 1950s to the present. Works in photography, paintings in acrylic, watercolor and oil, mixed media works and lithographs will be shown,…
Gerald Mead presented a lecture “A Passion for Collecting Art” at the Garret Club in Buffalo on February 9 (coordinated by Catherine Tillou) and at Canterbury Woods Gates Circle on March 8. He also juried the entries for the upcoming American Craftsman Artisan Festival at the Kenan Center and judged the West Seneca School District Annual Student Exhibition.
