BSA Member Char Szabo-Perricelli is going squirrely – literally! Char has been commissioned to design a squirrel for the Olean “Woodland in the City” public street art project.
Char fell in love with the four-foot squirrel forms a couple of years ago when writing an article for Heritage Magazine.
Her squirrel is still a work in progress. He is dubbed “Forrest Nutterman – conservationist/tree and pollinator flowers planter. She is working away at the sculpting of “Forrest”. Here is a sneak peek as well as some pics of other squirrels that are part of “Woodland in the City”.
