artist statement:
Reflex actions are involuntary. our bodies react to outside stimulus without conscientious thought. life can be consuming and it’s easy to march through time without considering our influences around us and where we are heading …consider… to think about intensely… it’s good to stop the parade at times to reflect instead of reflex. Decide who i want to be, where I want to go, and do it on purpose.
Inspired by tapestries, these works are printed on vinyl to hang freely on the walls as a reminder that like air moves the image, so we to are moved by the world around us.
