Ruth Mohn has a show of her photographs in the new entrance wing of Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. It will be up through the summer months.
A reception for Ruth and Larry Kinney, a sculptor who shares the exhibit space, will be held at the Hospital on Friday, June 25, at 1:30 p.m. The public is invited.

Gerald Mead has a 30-year survey of his work on view in the Norine Spurling Memorial Gallery at Canterbury Woods (Williamsville) through November 14 and his work will be included in the exhibition “Five Years of Mirabo Press” at Mirabo Press (Buffalo) from November 16 to December 31. He juried the “77th Regional Exhibition” (Arnot Art Museum, Elmira, NY), was appointed to the Roswell Park Art Committee, and was invited to serve as the Honorary Advisory Board Chair of the West Seneca School District Academy of Visual Arts. Mark Lavatelli will be exhibiting three encaustic diptych paintings that combine tree images and conceptual representation in a group show in New York entitled “Charged Brushes”, at The Painting Center (547 W. 27th St., Suite 500) from March 1 to 26, 2011. Three BSA Members have been accepted into the Adirondack National Exhibition of American Watercolors. The Exhibition opens August 7, 2020 and runs until September 27, 2020 at the View Art Center, Old Forge, New York. They are Catherine O’Neill, Carol Case Siracuse and Jane Stoddard.
Four different large scale wall murals of photographs by Dennis Stierer have been permanently installed in the newly opened Catholic Health Lockport Hospital. Each of the murals are around 9 feet high and 15 feet long. The above image is in the MRI room. Others are in the CT Scan room, and two others in the Office area.
Andy Russell is having a show at the MARKET STREET ART CENTER located at 274 Market St., Lockport, NY 14094. It will be in the downstairs gallery from FEB. 5th to MARCH 15th, 2011. The show is called “EXTENDED REALISM”. There will be a reception on SAT., FEB 5th, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
