This is your chance to have an art project featured in the Allentown District! The Buffalo Art Commission is seeking proposals for a signature art piece that would be great for photo opportunities in Allentown. This will cap off the newly reconstructed infrastructure project that the district has undergone.
The successful artwork proposal selected for this project will have the following:
The space / surface could incorporate color field condition
Keep or enhance greenery
Keep transparent lines of sight that allows for fluid movement through the space.
Is playful and fun for all ages
Community activated
Great in all seasons
All types of artworks will be considered including landscape art.
The work should contribute to the view shed of Days Park; an adjacent space designed by Frederick Law Olmsted.
The budget for the project is $100,000.
