Please help the Leadership and Entrepreneurship in the Arts program at Daemen College spread word of A CALL FOR WORK for Emergence, a two month celebration of artists of all disciplines in the first ten years of their careers.

In collaboration with Arts Services Inc., Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology, Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center, CEPA Gallery and Crucible Art Collective, the program is announcing a call for work for a series of juried art shows, performances, lectures, and panel discussions that will focus on young and emerging artists who are from or living in the Western New York region. The series will focus on artists and creatives early on in their career, within the first 10 years of their practice.

Artists’ and creatives’ work must represent the following disciplines: Still Visual Image; Moving Visual Image; Performance/Interdisciplinary; and Mixed Media. The Tower Gallery in the Haberman Gacioch Center for the Visual and Performing Arts, the Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology, and Crucible Arts Collective will be among the sites that will show selected work in spring, 2022.

All proposals should be completed and submitted through Daemen’s online portal at: Emerging Artist Proposal

Questions should be directed to Kay Leach, Administrative Coordinator: kleach@daemen.edu, while resources for artists can be found at: https://www.asiwny.org/
