Burchfield Penney Art CenterNow Recruiting Docents for the 2011 Docent Class Join the group on Sunday, May 23rd at 3:00 p.m. to learn about becoming a Burchfield Penney Docent. As a highly trained guide and ambassador for the museum, you will learn how to lead tours with children, students, corporate groups and social clubs. Starting this September, the new Docent Class will meet weekly on Tuesday mornings until their graduation in spring 2011. Meet the talented group of over thirty docents during afternoon tea and enjoy a tour. RSVP to Mary a must. We are looking for an artist to give us a quote on creating a house portrait as a gift for a neighbor who will be moving away from the area.
