The Buffalo Society of Artists held a Silent Auction Fundraiser on September 23, 2011, at Vern Stein’s Art Gallery in Williamsville, to benefit the Video Archive Project (VAP). As a highly trained guide and ambassador for the museum, you will learn how to lead tours with children, students, corporate groups and social clubs. Starting this September, the new Docent Class will meet weekly on Tuesday mornings until their graduation in spring 2011. The Buffalo Society of Artists Gallery at Artpark will be open Tuesday-Friday, 1-4pm, May 31 through Labor Day. Forty-five exhibiting artists from the Buffalo Society of Artists have over 100 beautiful works of art in the gallery. The Gallery will also be open for selected weekend, mainstage and amphitheater events. On Sunday, June 12 from 12-2, there will be a reception for the artists and to announce the winner of the Edges II sculpture competition. The sculptures will be in the park all summer for viewing.
