EYE CANDY FUNDRAISER

The Buffalo Society of Artists will hold a Silent Auction Fundraiser to benefit the Video Archive Project (VAP). The Fundraiser will be held at Vern Stein’s Art Gallery, 5747 Main Street, Williamsville, N.Y. during the hours of 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23rd. Approximately 85 small artworks will be available with all bids opening at $50.00. The artwork has been donated by BSA members and non-members. A program listing of contributing artists will be available at the opening event. The invitation and reply card for this event are below:

The Buffalo Society of Artists has begun the Video Archive Project, in collaboration with the Burchfield Penney Art Center, in order to preserve a history of our region’s prominent visual artists. These recorded histories will be archived at the Burchfield Penney Art Center for future educational, historical and cultural endeavors. The proceeds of the auction will be used to help fund the many segments of this project. Segments of the raw footage will be on view during the Fundraiser.
