Here’s the holiday scoop! 464 Gallery will once again be expanding its reach this year for the holidays. Not only will we be hosting our extremely successful annual Holiday Art Market at 464 on Amherst Street in Buffalo, but we are going to be opening an “anchor store” at the NIagara Holiday Market in Niagara Falls. Artists need not be present- drop your work with us, and we’ll do the rest!
464 Gallery Holiday Art Market (our third annual)
We are seeking all art forms for inclusion in this five-week long event. 464 goes retail heavy for the holiday season. We will be hanging a salon style gallery- with as much work as will reasonably and comfortably fit on the walls, and have tables decked out with prints, art gift items, crafts, ceramics, jewelry etc. As always, if you are a local artist or craftsperson, you are welcome to participate. The event will run November 25-Jan 1, our hours of operation will be 11-7 Tuesday-Sunday and later during events. We have six events already on the books with even more in the works to increase exposure to your work.
464Squared at the Niagara Holiday Market (first ever)
464 Gallery goes regional and opens its first store in Niagara Falls! As an anchor, we will be joined by others like Tony Walker, Etsy and Zillycakes. Check the full listing of vendors here. in our 16’x30′ booth we plan to share what has made 464 Gallery so successful by featuring selected fine art originals from local artists and carry locally made gift items, prints and crafts made by some of Buffalo’s best. The NIagara Market will be taking place on Old Falls street, which has recently been converted to a beautiful cobblestone district and sits smack between tourist hotspots- Seneca Niagara Casino and the Falls themselves. This event will also run Nov 25-Jan 1, and will be open every day except Christmas, with all sorts of special events and concerts. For the full scoop on the NFM visit here.
Because we want these events to be accessible and we want to make sure this opportunity is open to all who are interested, 464 will not be charging any type of entry fee to submit or participate.
Members who would like to participate; we will be asking a 30% commission on sales (as usual) at 464 Gallery and a 40% commission at 464Squared (to help cover the costs of overhead and additional staffing). For non-members the commission will be 40% at 464 Gallery and 50% at 464Squared, though all are welcome to join forces with us and become members (info here 🙂 All works will be carefully selected to best match our target audiences at both spaces, and I invite you to either write me back and say: Im on board with all of it, pick your preference, or submit works you’d specifically like considered here. If you are not a current member you must submit through the link. Either of the opportunities offer you tons of great exposure as our promotional campaigns will be broad and abundant.
