Lila Krehbiel, formerly Lila Mandzyk, will be conducting two Ukranian Easter egg workshops in April, the first on Satuday, April 4 from 9 to noon at the Buffalo Arts Studio, Suite 500, TriMain Building, 5th floor, 2495 Main Street, Buffalo. The cost of the workshop is $35. Register by calling 833-4450, ext. 13. The second workshop is on Saturday, April 18 from 9:30 to noon at the Creative Edge Studio, Suite 412, 4th floor, TriMain Building, 2495 Main Street, Buffalo. The cost of this workshop is $30. Register by calling 862-0367. Both require you to bring 3 fresh eggs or 3 uncracked hard boiled eggs to the workshop. Lila’s interest in her Ukranian heritage prompted her to learn this time-honored art.

Joan Turrell’s Artist Books
Joan Turrell’s Artist Books, CAPTURING AUTUMN and WINTER VISION, were displayed at The Poetry Collection, Capen Library, University of Buffalo at the North Campus on September 27, 2011. This was the publication launch of Robert Giannetti’s book of Poems, Winter Vision. One of the pastel paintings from the the artist’s book, WINTER VISION is on the cover of the newly released book of poems. Both artist’s books were an interpretation of Robert Giannetti poetry and Joan’s view of nature. Congratulations Joan!!
Cornelia Dohse-Peck’s Work at Chautauqua
Road Trip Topography, Mixed Media (c.Dohse-Peck) Two of Cornelia Dohse-Peck’s Mixed Media pieces from her Pack Rat Mandala Series were accepted to the 60th Chautauqua Annual Exhibition of Contemporary Art, at the Fowler-Kellogg Art Center in Chautauqua, NY.
