Made in NY is an annual juried exhibition which features artwork by artists residing in New York State.
The exhibit is open to all mediums, such as photography, sculpture, ceramics, painting, drawing, fiber, installation and video. Prizes will be awarded, including $1,000 for Best of Show. Jurors determine the prizes after the installation. The artists’ reception was on Friday, April 20, with prizes awarded at 6 p.m.
Jurors for this year’s exhibit include Sharif Bey, Associate Professor of Art at Syracuse University; Sarah McCoubrey, Professor of Studio Arts at Syracuse University; and Miranda Traudt, Director of Arts Programming at Oswego University. The jurors reviewed 472 artworks submitted by 258 artists, and they selected 75 works for the exhibit.

This annual show presents a juried selection of the best regional art from artists residing within 250 miles of Erie. A total of $15,000: cash awards of $2,500, including the Northwestern Pennsylvania Artists Association Award, and $12,500 in guaranteed purchases. The cash awards will be divided among the juror’s selections. The firms and individuals offering purchase awards will make their own selections.
