Joan Turrell has a show currently on display in the Youngstown Public Library, 240 Lockport St, Youngstown, NY, until April 29. She also has 4 pastel paintings in the Niagara Artists and Craftmen’s Association Gallery in the Market Street Art Center, 247 Market Street in Lockport, NY, and will be exhibiting in their show at the Kenan Center from February 20 through March 20, 2011.

Patricia Sciandra, Life and Still Life
Patricia Sciandra will host the opening of her solo show, “Life and Still Life” on August 1,2009 at the Market Street Art Center, 247 Market Street, Lockport, NY. The reception will be from 5 pm to 8 pm. The gallery is open seven days a week from 10 am to 5 pm and the show runs through the month of August.
BSA Exhibiting Member William McCullagh wins “Best in Show”
BSA Exhibiting Member William McCullagh won the “Best in Show” award for an acrylic piece entitled “FDNY Engine 42, Tim’s Truck” at the Williamsville Art Society Holiday Show. Awards were presented at a reception held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the Amherst Center for Senior Services. Judge Donald Siuta chose work in four categories, acrylic, oil, watercolor, and other; as well as the “Judge’s Award” and “Best in Show”.

Gary L. Wolfe Accepted into Two Exhibits
Made in NY 2018 Apr 20, 2018 – Jun 17, 2018 Made in NY is an annual juried exhibition which features artwork by artists residing in New York State. The exhibit is open to all mediums, such as photography, sculpture, ceramics, painting, drawing, fiber, installation and video. Prizes will be awarded, including $1,000 for Best of Show. Jurors determine the prizes after the installation. The artists’ reception was on Friday, April 20, with prizes awarded at 6 p.m. Jurors for this year’s exhibit include Sharif Bey, Associate Professor of Art at Syracuse University; Sarah McCoubrey, Professor of Studio Arts at Syracuse University; and Miranda Traudt, Director of Arts Programming at Oswego University.
