Karen Tashjian has been very busy with four major projects underway.

  • Abstructured, representing Tashjian’s most recent work, opens at BAM with a reception on Feb. 4th from 5-9 pm. 255 Great Arrow Avenue, Suite 200, Buffalo. Exhibition runs through March 5th.
  • A mix of recent and other work opens at The Garrett Club, 91 Cleveland, Buffalo, beginning March 15th. Tashjian will give a talk about her work and process.
  • She also has 9 pieces in the Hauptman-Woodward Cancer Research Center, 700 Ellicott Street, Buffalo.
  • In March, Tashjian will show 11 pieces at MOOG, 300 Jamison Road, East Aurora. They will remain 3 – 6 months. K

Dennis Stierer’s Photographs Added to Law Firm Collection

The Pat Balkin law firm has acquired 12 fine art photography prints from Dennis Stierer to add to its extensive collection of his work. Among them are Robin Hood Flour and Trees of Yaddo. Catholic Health Systems has also acquired the rights to 4 fine art works depicting Lockport Canal scenes and Apple Orchards to be converted into approximately 9′ by 15′ wallpaper murals which will be installed in the new hospital reception, MRI, and CT rooms currently being built in Lockport, NY. Two of the works are Evening Locks and Apple Blossoms.

Victor Shanchuk, Jr. – A Life’s Work (A Retrospective Exhibition) will open with a reception for the artist on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 7:30 to 9pm. The exhibit will continue to be on view through September 29, 2017. The exhibit highlights the long artistic career of this artist.
