Michele Agosto Selected for Women in the Arts Award
BSA member and Supervisor of Art Education at Buffalo City School District Michele Agosto was selected by NYS Assembly Member Crystal People-Stokes as one of three awardees for the Women in the Arts awards taking place during her 8th annual Women’s Luncheon on April 20 at the Statler Tower. Agosto said, “I am deeply grateful, very surprised, and super excited to say the least, especially as I am in the company of Agnes Bain and Leslie Zemsky, women of great passion, power and prestige.”

Andrea Demmin Tasevski’s pastel painting “Rose of Sharon” was selected to receive the Dave Francis Studio Award for Outstanding Still Life and her pastel painting “Renée” was selected to receive the Terry Ludwig Pastel Award at the 3rd Annual Adirondack National Pastel Exhibition.
