Rose Popper created a sculpted chicken wire form of the body of Christ for the Lenten project, “Rebuilding the Body of Christ, 2023,” St. Joseph University Parish in Buffalo, NY.
Stephen Houseknecht has two of his Bomber Diptychs now included in the permanent collection of the Kennedy Museum of Art at Ohio University and will be on view in the exhibition Recent Acquisitions thru April 8, 2012 http://www.ohio.edu/museum/exhibitions.html
Indigo Art Gallery is presenting an exhibition entitled, “A Circle of Influence”, showing the recent work of Nancy Belfer, along with several artists who have studied with her over the years in classes at Buffalo State College and workshops. Included are BSA members, Ginny O’Brien Lohr, Gerald Mead, Barbara Murak, and Georgia Trimper. Opening: Friday March 4th, 6 – 9 pm.

Rita Argen Auerbach received The Arts Council in Buffalo & Erie County’s Individual Achievers Award at their 23rd Annual Arts Awards Luncheon on Mar. 20. Ten BSA members bought a table to applaud Rita’s achievement.
