Rita Argen Auerbach Watercolors at Roswell Art Heals Gallery

A series of Rita Argen Auerbach's watercolors - paintings inspired by her international travel to Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Costa Rica and England - are on view through May 31 in the Art Heals Gallery at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo.

The eighteen artworks were recently donated by the artist to the Cancer Center for their permanent collection. The Gallery was opened in 2020 in response to research conducted by the Cancer Center and the Albright-Knox Art Gallery that found that "dedicated exposure to art was associated with improving the patients' hope and mental well-being and decreasing their anxiety."
