Joan Fitzgerald‘s collage “Through Any Other Door” received an award in the National Collage Society’s 27th Annual Juried Internet Exhibition on view from November 1st. She exhibited a painting “Harbor Lights” in the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club’s 115th Annual Open Juried Exhibition at the National Arts Club, New York City. BSA’s 122nd Anuual Catalogue Exhibition opened at Artist Group Gallery, One Linwood Avenue, Buffalo on October 5th. Of the 157 submissions, 57 works were selected by juror Martin Kruck. Kruck wrote, “Most of these showcase exhiberant, vivid qualities with a sense of movement or material handling that borders on energized. Otheres are still, contemplative, and a little arresting, like a layer of everyday seeing has been replaced with something new. And then there are those so odd, quirky, or humorous they have to be given some light.
