of 25 Watercolor Portraits of Children

Lighthouse Free Clinic- Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014

The Medical Student Managers of Lighthouse Free Clinic invite you to a Reception/Exhibition of 25 watercolor portraits, painted by Kaaren Metcalf over a two year period. The portraits are of children who are clients of Lighthouse Free Clinic. The Event will take place from 1-4PM, on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at UB/MD Family Medicine Jefferson, 1315 Jefferson Avenue, Buffalo, NY, 14215. Parking is available.

This Exhibition is a collaborative project between the medical student managers of Lighthouse Free Clinic and the artist. The primary goal is to use these paintings to honor the families in the East Side communities for their commitment to the good health of their children. Additional goals are to encourage the families and friends of the children to continually come into Lighthouse Free Clinic and learn how the managers seek to keep their children healthy, as well as to expand the base of the clientele.
