Laura Minor

Laura Minor is an artist and art educator. In her artwork, she explores themes of environmentalism, motherhood, and feminism. While Laura often uses photography to express her ideas, she can be found in her home studio painting, printmaking, and using fiber to create. She is currently working on a series of cyanotypes using found images. Her work was recently featured in 20/20 Vision: Women Artists in Western New York at the Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University.

She received her MFA from The Visual Studies Workshop in 2013, a BS in Art Education from Buffalo State College in 2008, and an AAS in Photography from The Fashion Institute of Technology in 2003. Laura lives in Hamburg, NY with her husband and young daughter.
